National Textile
Corporation (Tamilnadu & Pondicherry) Limited was established in the
year 1974 as a Subsidiary Company of the National Textile Corporation
Ltd, New Delhi. It is a Government owned Enterprise dealing in
manufacturing and supply of yarn and cloth to the Domestic and
International Markets for the Weaving and Knitting
Industries.
Today, under the
fold of National Textile Corporation (Tamilnadu & Pondicherry) Ltd,
there are 15 unit Mills with 4.07 lakhs spindles and 240 looms bringing
in a turnover of Rs.3000 million per
annum.
